Brand &Identity
The whole identity, built from the ground up, not just a logo, but every part of how your business looks, reads and holds together.
Anyone can sell you a logo. What most businesses actually need is a brand, the strategy behind it, the system that keeps it consistent, and every asset that carries it into the world.
We build that whole thing. The positioning, the identity, the logo and its variations, the colour and type system, the brand board your team works from, and the collateral and digital assets it all lives on. One coherent identity, designed to work together, rather than a logo you’re left to build a business around on your own.
Why it matters
A logo is where it starts, not where it ends
A logo is a single asset. A brand is the strategy behind it and every place it shows up: the website, the social grid, the packaging, the van, the invoice, the shopfront, all behaving like they belong to the same business.
Stop at the logo and the rest drifts. Six months on, the colours don't match, someone's stretched the mark to fit a banner, and the brand looks like three different companies. We design the full system from the start, so everything holds together no matter who touches it next.
A complete identity makes a young business read as an established one. That consistency is the difference between looking like a startup and looking like you've been doing this for years.

Included
What's included
Brand strategy & direction
Before anything's designed, we work out what the brand needs to say, who it's for, and how it should feel. The foundation everything else is built on, and the part that stops a brand looking good but meaning nothing.
Identity system
The full visual language: colour palette, typography, and the rules for how they work together. Not just what the brand looks like, but how it behaves across every context it'll face.
Logo & marks
The primary logo plus every variation you'll actually need: horizontal, stacked, single-colour, reversed, and a standalone icon for the places the full mark won't fit. Designed to work at billboard size and favicon size alike.
Brand board & guidelines
The reference document your team, your printer and your next designer all work from: logos, colours, type, spacing and usage, in one place. It's what keeps the brand consistent long after we've handed it over.
Collateral & applications
Where the brand lives in the real world: business cards, signage, packaging, vehicle livery, social templates, print. The identity proves itself here or it doesn't.
Web & digital
The brand carried onto the screen, website design that matches the identity, plus social and digital assets built to the same system. A brand that looks like itself everywhere, online included.

Our approach
Built from the ground up, built to last
We don't start with the logo. We start with the business, what it does, who it's for, and where it's going, and build the identity outward from there. The logo comes once we know what it needs to carry.
That order matters. A mark designed before the strategy is just decoration; a mark designed after it is a considered part of a system. Everything we deliver comes ready for the real world: every variation, every format, every rule, so the brand works on day one and still works years later.
The result isn't a logo you're handed and left to figure out. It's a complete identity you can actually run a business on.
Process
How it works
01
Brief
We work out what the brand needs to do, who it's talking to, and where it'll appear. Usually more useful than a mood board.
02
Direction
Real options, developed properly. Not one take-it-or-leave-it concept, and not thirty variations of the same idea.
03
Refine
We tighten the chosen direction until it holds at every size and in every context it'll face.
04
Deliver
Every file format you'll need, organised, plus guidelines so it stays right after we've handed it over.

FAQ
Common questions
How much does a brand identity cost?
It depends on scope. A single logo and a full brand system built from the ground up are very different pieces of work, and the cost reflects how much is involved and the time it takes. Tell us what you need and we'll scope it properly. You'll get a clear quote before anything starts.
How long does a brand identity project take?
It varies with scope, but most brand projects run over a few weeks: enough time to get the strategy right, develop real options, and refine the chosen direction properly. We'll give you a timeline up front once we understand what's involved. Good identity work isn't rushed, but it doesn't drag either.
What's the difference between a logo and a brand identity?
A logo is one asset, a single mark. A brand identity is the whole system: the strategy behind it, the colour and type, the logo and its variations, the guidelines, and the way it all works together across everything from a business card to a website. A logo is where it starts, not where it ends.
Do I get all the logo files and formats?
Yes. Every brand project is delivered with the full set of files and formats you'll actually need: primary logo, variations, single-colour and reversed versions, and an icon for small spaces. All organised so you and anyone you work with can use them without coming back to us.
Can you refresh an existing brand rather than start from scratch?
Absolutely. Plenty of our work is refreshing and modernising existing brands rather than starting over: keeping what works, fixing what doesn't, and bringing the identity up to date. If you've got something that's tired rather than broken, a refresh is often the smarter move.
