Array Designs started in 2016, out of a fairly simple frustration: finding a studio that could handle the whole thing was harder than it should have been.
Most businesses end up with a logo from one place, a website from another, and social content from someone who's never seen either. Nothing quite matches, everything takes three times as long, and nobody owns the result.
We built the alternative. You describe what you're trying to do, and we handle the parts that get you there: the identity, the site, the campaigns, the content. One brief, one team, one direction.
Mood Saturdays is a fair example. A new Melbourne nightclub across four levels and six rooms. We built the brand from scratch, designed the website, and produced the weekly flyer series, each one built around the dopamine molecule, since that's the chemical that puts you in a good mood. Logo, site and print, all pointing the same way, because they came from the same place.
Ten years on, that's still the model. The clients range from global manufacturers to sole traders, and the work ranges from a single logo to a year-long campaign. What doesn't change is that we'd rather solve the actual problem than deliver something that only looks good in a portfolio.

Approach
No surprises
Straight answers
We'll tell you if something won't work, if the budget doesn't match the brief, or if you don't need what you think you need. It's a shorter conversation than the alternative.
Real options
You see genuine directions, developed properly. Not one concept presented as inevitable, and not thirty variations of the same idea dressed up as choice.
Built to last
Everything gets delivered in the formats you'll actually need, with the documentation to keep it consistent after we've handed it over.
What clients say
Don't take our word for it.
Easy to work with, prompt with communications, and offering numerous opportunities for revisions and refinements, we would not hesitate to engage these services on future endeavours!
Melissa Crisp - Vileda
We have been very fortunate to have been able to work with Array Designs on a number of key projects. They valued highly our brief and created a range of options for us. Their attention to detail, creative flair and dedication were to be commended.
Lexi Wooderson - Melbourne Figure Skating
Array Designs showcased their outstanding skills in social media by creating and growing our platforms. We are very happy with how they managed the accounts and how the designs came out.
PRES Saturdays
Array Designs built me a calm, easy-to-use website and got it ranking at the top of Google. I now come up first when people search for a lactation consultant, and it's brought in more clients than I ever expected. Highly recommended.

FAQ
Common questions
Where is Array Designs based?
We're a design studio working across Sydney and Melbourne, and we take on work Australia-wide. Most of what we do happens remotely, so where you're based rarely matters. We've worked with clients from both major cities and plenty of places in between.
How long has Array Designs been operating?
Since 2016. Nearly a decade of brand, web, social and campaign work across industries from global manufacturers to local trades and hospitality.
Do you work with businesses outside Sydney and Melbourne?
Yes. While we're based across Sydney and Melbourne, we work with clients right across Australia. The process is built to work remotely: briefs, drafts, reviews and handover all happen online, so distance isn't an issue.
What kind of businesses do you work with?
All sorts. We've worked with global brands, construction and trade companies, nightclubs and events, health practitioners, retailers and sole traders. The common thread isn't the industry: it's businesses that want design to actually do something, not just look good.
How do I start a project with you?
Get in touch through the contact page with a bit about what you're working on. We'll come back with a straight answer: whether we're the right fit, what the work would involve, and the next step. No hard sell.
How much does a project cost?
Every project is different, so we don't have a fixed price list. Cost comes down to scope: how much is involved, how many pieces there are, and the time it takes to do properly. The best way to get a real number is to tell us what you're planning, and we'll scope it and come back with a clear quote. No surprises later.
