Susan Shaw needed a website that felt as calming as her practice, soft browns and light pink touches, easy to navigate for exhausted new mothers. But the real job was being found.

We built the site on WordPress, choosing a lightweight, well-supported theme rather than a heavy page-builder so the site would load fast on a phone at 2am, which is realistically when a lot of her audience is searching. Photography was retouched and colour-graded in Photoshop to keep the palette consistent site-wide, with icon and section-divider work in Illustrator to keep the layout feeling soft rather than clinical. The real work was underneath: proper page titles and meta descriptions for every service, structured data marking up her credentials and reviews, a sitemap and internal linking structure built around the exact phrases new mothers actually search, and copy written to answer the questions people have before they even know they need a lactation consultant.

We designed and built the full site with copy and edited imagery, and set up an SEO structure that has since taken her to number one in Australia for lactation consultants, generating over 500 new clients a year. Proof that a calm, simple site and serious search work aren’t a trade-off.
