The situation

An in-demand lactation consultant with a strong word-of-mouth reputation but almost no digital presence to match it. New parents searching for help in those first overwhelming weeks could not find her, and enquiries relied entirely on referral rather than search.

The approach

We built the complete brand from the ground up. It started with a brand identity and logo designed to feel calm, trusted and approachable, the tone a new parent needs at a vulnerable moment. From there we built a website shaped specifically around that audience: clear, reassuring, and quick to get someone from searching to booking. We paired the site with a strong, fully optimised Google Business presence, so that when a parent in Melbourne searches for a lactation consultant, Susan is who they find first. The whole system was built to establish a lasting presence in local search rather than depend on ongoing ad spend.
